Troop 24 – Attleboro MA

This past weekend Pack 24 had their Blue and Gold celebration and they also had their Arrow of Light Ceremony. Which we all know is where Cub Scouts who have completed all the requirements are awarded the highest honor in Cub Scouting, The Arrow of Light.

I was fortunate enough to attend that ceremony along with our Advancement Coordinator Mrs. Schaum. One of the scouts earning the Arrow of Light Joel. Has chosen Troop 24 to continue to his scouting journey.

Please join me in welcoming Joel to our troop.

I am putting this out there early since this will probably be out last chocolate bar show and sell before the warm weather hits.

We are going to be a Bass Pro Shops in Foxborough on Saturday April 21st from 10am – 7pm.

This is going to be a longggg day and we will need all hands on deck to help out. We will need both parent and scout participation to make it successfull.

I know I have been sending a lot of these out lately looking for help. But with all the effort that had been put in. The troop was able to purchase some new equipment we needed.

The troop will be holding a Court of Honor in March sometime. This is when the troop recognizes the boys for Awards, Merit Badges, Positions of Leadership, etc they have earned since the last Court of Honor. This is something that only happens 3 or 4 times a year which makes a special time.  So if you have not been to one in a while or even never been to one. Plan to come, and spend some time with the Troop and see how busy not only your son has been but ALL the boys.
